Seven years ago Pastor Rick Warren from Saddleback Church wrote a book titled Purpose Driven Life. It was a commercial success for him and became a focal point of my church. From our small groups we held conversations about what a Purpose Driven Life meant. My interpretation was to get involved with my first passion-kids. So I went out of my comfort zone and started a lacrosse club. In one two year period I helped run one high school team, started a youth team and ran a college team. Now years later here are the fruits of many other people’s labor. All because God through Rick Warren inspired people.
