Beautiful Oregon Coast

Ruth and I had a wonderful time spending a few days up the Oregon Coast on our way to her family reunion in Corvallis. We ate at some really great restaurants, some with tasty food and some with a great theme with some good food. We explored the beaches near Newport, Oregon and what we found were  beautiful sand dune beaches and yet hardly anyone was using them. Unlike California beaches, we could see forever down the stretch of beach and not see a single soul. Of course the water is freezing and the waves are not all that particularly good for body surfing but who cares. We just wanted to walk and look at the scenery of the gorgeous coast.

As usual I took my camera on the trip and I am so glad I did. The story of any journey is always told better by the use of pictures and boy will we remember this trip from the pictures. Hope you enjoy some of them too.
